Naan Pizza


Here is a dish I whipped up after my hike last Sunday. Cooking is personal, and recipes are just suggestions. But this was pretty good.

Who knew taking pictures of food would be difficult? Probably only a professional food photographer knew. But now I do too.

Tandoor Naan

Local Folks Foods Pizza Sauce

Organic Mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, tomato, red bell pepper

Applegate Uncured Pepperoni

Naan Pizza Actions

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Ovens are all beasts of their own, so experimentation and vigilance is recommended here.

Place Naan on tray or sheet, spread sauce on it. Now sprinkle your cheese all around. Next, garnish with thin slices of red pepper and tomato. Then add the fresh basil. I like to cut it with kitchen shears. Now lay on the pepperoni, and eat 1 slice yourself. Sprinkle a little more cheese and basil on top, and slap it into the oven.

Bake 10 to 12 minutes, heeding the paragraph above.

Naan Pizza Pairings

Pairs well with an ice cold Pacifico, or a medium red blend. Of course, everything pairs well with water.
